Sea Salt & Coconut Milk Bar ~ Sea Salt & Orchid

Ingredients:

Soap base: Coconut oil, avocado oil, coconut milk, sea salt, French green clay, sodium hydroxide, phalate-free fragrance, mica colorant, biodegradable glitter. 

Soap frosting:  Mango butter, olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil (RSPO), castor oil, avocado oil, coconut milk, sodium hydroxide. 

Orchid flower: Vegetable glycerine, sodium stearate, sodium myristate, sodium cocoate, coconut, palm, sunflower oil, mango butter, titanium dioxide. 

• Coconut oil has fatty acids which reduces dryness, allowing your skin to retain moisture.
• Avocado oil aids in calming itchy skin, heals chapped skin, replenishes dry skin, hydrates, moisturizes, shields from UV radiation, and protects against skin damage.
• Sea salt is a fantastic cleanser, it’s heavy in minerals like magnesium, calcium and potassium.  Salt soap removes dirt and toxins and leaves your skin sparkling and fresh. The natural antibacterial properties of salt make it a great choice for those who suffer from acne. Salt soap does not dry out your skin. On the contrary, salt acts as a humectant, and maintains the skin's natural barrier, keeping moisture locked in. Salt soap effectively exfoliates your skin, removing dead cells and promotes a healthier, youthful appearance.
• French green clay is known for its toning and firming properties. As it dries on the skin, it tightens the pores and stimulates blood flow, resulting in a more toned and lifted appearance. Using French green clay regularly can help to maintain skin elasticity, thereby reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• Coconut milk has anti-aging properties. Enriched with antioxidants, vitamin C and vitamin E, regular use of coconut milk can slow the aging process in your skin. The antioxidants in coconut milk lower the number of harmful free radicals in your skin. It contains micronutrients such as selenium, iron, copper and zinc, which help to nourish your skin. It also contains lauric acid, caprylic acid, and capric acid, which are efficient anti-microbial agents which inhibit breakouts. Lauric acid is known for its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which may help with skin infections as well. It works well on oily skin and acne by helping with balancing oil production, and for not clogging pores.
• Mango butter is used for hydration and soothes irritation. It is rich in fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins E, D, and A.
• Olive oil is very high in oleic acid, and contributes to making the soap gentle and nourishing to the skin.
• Castor oil aids in preventing wrinkles due to its' antioxidants that fight free radicals, as well as antibacterial properties that can assist with acne.  It protects, smooths, and minimize the the look of fine lines. It calms temporary redness and irritations on skin, and has antioxidants that fight free radicals in your body. It helps reduce puffiness, is moisturizing and promotes overall skin health.
• Sustainable palm oil (RSPO) enhances skin elasticity, protects skin from harmful UV radiation, boosts circulation, soothes minor burns, slows the look of wrinkles, lightens dark spots and blemishes, and facilitates the regeneration of newer, more supple skin.

Disclaimer:  Each bar weighs approximately 8 oz. Please note each bar is handmade and slightly different, so weight and design may vary.  All soaps are cured for a minimum of 4 weeks to ensure a hard but mild bar of soap. For best results, elevate on a soap dish, avoid sitting water.  If irritation on skin occurs stop use immediately, and rinse skin with water. As good as this soap smells, please do not consume.
